Delicious brushed over grilled chicken, pork or salmon during the last few minutes of cooking.
Melt butter in a large sauté pan. Add onion and sauté for 2 to 3 mintues over medium heat; add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add bourbon and apple juice; cook over high heat until mixture is reduced by about half, and is syrupy in consistency. Reduce heat to low and stir in corn syrup, tomato paste and seasoning.
